Did Alfred Hitchcock ever draw storyboards or concept drawings for his films?
I know he worked as a draughtsman before he started working in film, so he must have had the ability. I know that for many films (Psycho, Vertigo, Family Plot…) he hired artists to do the storyboards, but I was wondering if anyone knew if he did any himself? If he did I would presume it would be for his earlier films when he had a lower budget. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!
Check his earlier/earliest films. He didn’t always have the money to throw away on hiring artists to do what he already had the ability to do.
